Celebrities That Are Devout Christians

As you may know, there aren't many Hollywood celebrities that reference God. So, when there are celebrities that does reference God publicly, we immediately take notice. We can only imagine how it feels to be among a sea of unbelievers when the industry consist of evildoers, but the following celebrities aren't ashamed to let the world know that they serve the one and only God Almighty.

Emmanuel Dapidran "Manny" Pacquiao

Borned a Catholic, now a born-again Christian, Manny "Pacman" Pacquio is our favorite Christian celebrity and here's why... His mother Dionesia hates it. She’s always trying to force the Rosary on him. The only worry about it is that maybe it could hurt his political career, because 90% of the Philippines is Catholic and he’s a born-again Christian.”  “I have a lot of dreams and visions,” the world welterweight champion says in a voice as unthreatening as a mother’s whisper. “I even heard the voice of God. When I heard the voice of God, I am trembling and melting. I feel I have died. It was an amazing, amazing experience.“I’m happy because I found the right way, salvation, born again. We are required to be born again, all of us. Christ said unless we are born again we cannot enter the kingdom of God. So it’s very important to me. Jesus Christ said: ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’ There is no other way. The only way is through Jesus.”

Steph Curry

"I remember it like it was yesterday, the day I gave my life to Christ. I was in fourth grade, and I recall hearing and understanding the gospel of Jesus Christ and walking down the aisle to give my life to Him. My parents continued to pour into my faith from that point on, making sure I understood the commitment I’d just made. Starting in middle school I attended Charlotte Christian School, which allowed me to hear the gospel on a daily basis. Looking back, my childhood was filled with the Lord’s presence. There’s more to me than just this jersey I wear, and that’s Christ living inside of me."

Joseph Simmons "Rev Run"

Joseph Simmons wasn’t always Rev. Run. After battling drug addiction in the ’90s, Joseph Simmons turned his life over to God, released chart-topping Christian rap tracks like “Down With The King,” and later became an ordained minister.

Kirk Cameron

The Growing Pains star left Hollywood behind after becoming a born-again Christian at 17 years old. Now he dedicates his star power to spreading the faith. His advice for other born-again Christians?  “Put your nose into the Bible everyday. It is your spiritual food. And then share it. Make a vow not to be a lukewarm Christian.”

Angela Bassett

The West Angeles Church of God in Christ attendee and The “Waiting To Exhale” star is such a full-on Jesus devotee that she thinks its ingrained in her. Basset said, “When you realize that every breath is a gift from God. When you realize how small you are, but how much he loved you. That he, Jesus, would die, the son of God himself on earth, then you…you just weep.” She added, “Loving God is like my being black. I just am. [No one says], ‘You know what? I’m gonna be blacker today!’ It’s my culture. It’s not something I put on or take off or show more. You just communicate that in the way you live your life.”
