Miss Jessie's, Miko Branch: Moves Forward Despite Sister Death

Our hearts were broken when the news of  Miss Jessies's founder, Titi Branch committed suicide due to mental illness (Read: Black People: Mental Illness Is Real). However, the devastating news didn't stop Miko Branch. She's continually striving for excellence and keeping the memory of her sister, Titi Branch much alive.

The CEO and Founder, follows the importance of brand building for any business, particularly a mom-and-pop grassroots business. It was Titi who helped fuel Miss Jessie's  growth through the internet--showing before and after photos on their website and capitalizing on social media outreach and bloggers.

"I'm not the same Miko I was ten years ago and I want to share that journey with everyone so they understand being an entrepreneur--you evolve."
