 My Future Son Will Not Play Football

Football will always be a trending topic---Just as long as you don't mention banning the most loved sport in America, everyone will be okay. Well, I have a problem and let me be candid with what I'm about to say : my future son won't be playing football! As a future mother, my disposal as a parent is to protect my child from hurt, harm, and danger. With that being said, I will not allow the homicide of my child to take place at every Little League practice and game. I Just Won't Do It!

 Thank goodness for the recent release of Concussion! The movie Concussion which comes out on Christmas Day; is a 2015 American biographical sports thriller and medical drama film starring Will Smith portraying Bennet Omalu. The forensic pathologist who fought against efforts by National Football League to suppress his research on the brain damage suffered by professional football players. The movie is a dramatic storytelling depiction of Bennet Omalu's race against time to publicize CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) in American football players and games and the attempts by the NFL to deny the problem and to disparage the doctor.

There's no need for elaborate explanations on why my future offspring shouldn't play the popular sport. What's understood doesn't need to be explained---right?
