Republican Ben Carson: Prison Turns Those Who Are Straight, Gay

Who else is tired of the mouthy Republican, Ben Carson? Mr. Carson has been running his trap a lot  lately these days. Want to know what the 'Dr. Ben Carson' has been saying recently? Okay--but before we get to his statement we must let you know that his comment goes with what we said in the article: Where Did Your GAYNESS Come From? (Part I). Anyways--let's take a look at what Mr. Carson had to say...

It happened when anchor Chris Cuomo asked the neurosurgeon if he thought being gay is a choice, he replied, “Absolutely.” He elaborated with a this, er, rather interesting response:“Because a lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight — and when they come out, they’re gay. So, did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”Dr. Carson, by the way, is being seen as a candidate for 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

After some pressing from Cuomo, visibly agitated by the strident ignorance before him, Carson goes on:“Why do gay people want to get married? Why do they say they want to get married? Because they want to have various rights—property rights, visitation rights,” he said. “Why can’t any two human beings, I don’t care what their sexual orientation is, why can’t they have the legal right to do those things? That does not require changing the definition of marriage.”
