Mariah Carey Told Nanny: Don't Be Too Affectionate With Twins

If you haven't heard it yet, Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon's former Nanny, Simonette DaCosta, claims in the Manhattan federal court lawsuit filed Tuesday that she was paid $3,000 to $3,600 twice monthly, but denied overtime ,while caring for the entertainers’ 3-year-old twins from October 2013 through late January 2014. DaCosta claims she was forced to rotate between working weekly shifts of 84 hours spread over seven, 12-hour days or 120 hours via 24-hour shifts over five days until getting canned for being “too affectionate” with twins Monroe and Moroccan. “She was let go for doing too good of a job,” her lawyer Eli Freedberg told The Post. “She was advised not to be too affectionate with the children by Carey and Cannon because they felt the children would get too attached to Ms. DaCosta.”

Now, ain't this some mess! You have millions of people out there that wished someone would've shown them some affection as a child, and these two "stars" have some nerve to complain about this?! Let alone, The Preying Narcissist Blog often writes about reasons why adults can't progress in life, because of the lack of affection as a child. Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, y'all have definitely screwed up this time. Note to Mariah and Nick: If you let go of the fame, then maybe ( just maybe) you wouldn't have to fight for the attention of your kids with your nanny.
